Information About the Data Controller STT Oral and Dental Health Inc. (Dentgen), registered in the Istanbul Trade Registry with the registry number 449663-5 and Mersis number 0781104214000001, headquartered at Şerifali Mah. Miras Sok. Çankaya Plaza 20/1 Ümraniye/ISTANBUL, acts as the data controller. Dentgen processes and uses your personal data in accordance with the relevant legislation, ensuring that your personal data are processed lawfully and your privacy is protected by taking necessary security measures.

Purpose of the Personal Data Protection Information Text The Law on the Protection of Personal Data No. 6698 (“Law”) was adopted to protect the fundamental rights and freedoms of individuals, especially the privacy of private life, in the processing of personal data and to regulate the obligations of and procedures and principles to be followed by natural and legal persons who process personal data.

The purpose of this disclosure text is to inform our patients, potential patients, business partners and suppliers, and website visitors about the methods of collection, processing purposes, shared persons, legal reasons, and your rights regarding your personal data in accordance with Article 10 of the Law on the Protection of Personal Data No. 6698.

Processed Personal Data, Purpose and Legal Reasons for Processing Your Personal Data Management of Relationships with Our Business Partners and Suppliers: We process the personal data of our business partners and suppliers such as name-surname, email address, phone number, address, Turkish ID number, date of birth, place of birth, and bank account information based on the necessity of processing personal data directly related to the establishment or performance of a contract for the purposes of establishing contracts, verifying the authority of personnel authorized to sign contracts, and performing the contract.

Complaint Management: To manage complaints, receive and resolve your questions, provide information and consultancy support services, inform and respond to your complaints and requests, and use them as evidence in possible disputes, we may process your name-surname, email address, phone number, and address based on the legal reason that data processing is mandatory for our legitimate interests, provided that it does not harm your fundamental rights and freedoms.

Ensuring Security: For ensuring the security of employees, visitors, patients, patient relatives, and suppliers, preventing possible accidents, unlawful acts, or criminal events, and providing information to relevant law enforcement agencies if such events cannot be prevented, we temporarily collect visual data with tools that have visual monitoring and recording features (without audio recording) at Dentgen entrances and office corridors based on the legal reason that data processing is mandatory for our legitimate interests, provided that it does not harm your fundamental rights and freedoms. To manage the complaint management process, receive and resolve problem/error notifications, receive and resolve discomfort notifications, provide information and consultancy support services, create appointments, inform and respond to your complaints and requests, and use them as evidence in possible disputes, we may process your name-surname, email address, phone number, and address based on the legal reason that data processing is mandatory for our legitimate interests, provided that it does not harm your fundamental rights and freedoms.

Provision of Health Services: For the provision of health services offered by Dentgen; your health-related data obtained during the execution of medical diagnosis, treatment, and care services, such as laboratory and imaging results, test results, examination data, and prescription information provided by you, your data related to private health insurance and Social Security Institution data for the financing and planning of health services, closed-circuit camera recordings taken during your visit to Dentgen, browsing information obtained during the use of our website and mobile application, your IP address, browser information, medical documents, surveys, form information, and location data provided by you with your consent, voice recordings kept when you contact our Call Center, and vehicle plate data if you use parking and valet services are collected.

Information About Persons or Organizations to Which Your Personal Data Can Be Transferred In addition to the purposes mentioned above, your collected personal data may be transferred to:

  • Persons or organizations required by the provisions of the Tax Procedure Law, Court of Accounts Law, Law on the Prevention of Laundering Proceeds of Crime, Law on the Prevention of Money Laundering, Turkish Commercial Code, Code of Obligations, and other legislation,
  • Legally authorized public institutions and organizations, such as the Governorship, Ministry of Interior, Ministry of Health, law enforcement agencies, General Directorate of Security, prosecutors, and other judicial authorities and administrative and legal authorities requesting it for legal reasons,
  • Internal and external audit companies and auditors,
  • Real or legal persons, program partner institutions and organizations we cooperate with for the purposes of product/service comparison, analysis, evaluation, advertising, and realizing the purposes mentioned above,
  • Lawyers and financial advisors for the fulfillment of lawsuits, follow-ups, and legal processes,
  • Within the framework of the personal data processing conditions and purposes specified in Articles 8 and 9 of the Law No. 6698.

How Are Your Personal Data Collected? Your personal data are collected from the information you provide directly, verbally, in writing, or online by the data subjects, from the website, contracts, applications, forms, offers, and cookies used by the computer to recognize you during visits to the Dentgen website, and by means of tools that record images verbally, in writing, or electronically.

Rights of the Personal Data Owner Listed in Article 11 of Law No. 6698 Under the KVKK and relevant legislation, regarding your personal data, you have the right to:

  • Learn whether your personal data is processed,
  • Request information if your personal data has been processed,
  • Learn the purpose of processing your personal data and whether they are used in accordance with their purpose,
  • Know the third parties to whom your personal data are transferred domestically or abroad,
  • Request the correction of your personal data if they are incomplete or incorrectly processed,
  • Request the deletion or destruction of your personal data within the framework of the conditions stipulated in the KVKK legislation,
  • Request that the third parties to whom your personal data have been transferred be notified of the correction, deletion, or destruction of your personal data,
  • Request the compensation of the damage if you suffer damage due to the unlawful processing of your personal data.

Application Methods You can send your application and requests regarding your personal data with a wet-signed petition or electronically. In your application petition, your name, surname, and signature if the application is in writing, your Turkish ID number, your domicile or workplace address for notification, if any, your email address for notification, phone and fax numbers, and the subject of the request must be included. Information and documents related to the subject must be attached to the application petition. The request must be related to the applicant’s own data; if acting on behalf of someone else, the applicant must be specifically authorized in this regard and such authorization must be documented (special power of attorney). The application must also include the identity and address information of the applicant, and identity verifying documents must be attached to the application. Requests made by unauthorized third parties on behalf of someone else will not be considered. The application date is the date when the written applications are notified to the data controller. For applications made by other methods, the application date is the date when the application reaches the data controller. You can send your written application petition to Şerifali Mah. Miras Sok. You can send your application petition prepared electronically, signed with a mobile signature or secure electronic signature, by email to info@dentgen.clinic or by registered electronic mail (KEP) address and secure electronic signature or mobile signature to sttadsm@hs01.kep.tr.

Response Time and Fee for Applications Your requests regarding your personal data will be evaluated and answered within 30 days at the latest from the date we receive them. In case of a negative evaluation of your application, the reasons for rejection will be sent to the address specified in the application by electronic mail or by mail, primarily by shipping to the address. No fee is charged for written responses up to ten pages. A transaction fee of 1 Turkish Lira may be charged for each page over ten pages. If the response to the application is given on a recording medium such as CD or flash memory, the fee that can be requested by the data controller cannot exceed the cost of the recording medium.
